hand specialist dr. susan scott - additional tests, consisting of a bone
scan and arthrogram were normal... missed six games before returning to

at the yankees\ player development complex in tampa... started for class-a
tampa (fsl) at kissimmee on 8/25 and was 0-for-1 before being removed
from the game in the fourth inning as a precaution after he was hit by
a pitch on the left knee - was his only rehab appearance... was reinstated
from the 15-day disabled list before 9/1 game vs. minnesota (missed 27
games)... made first start on 9/6 at kansas city since 8/2 vs. kansas
city (a span of 33 games)... recorded his first hit since being reinstated
from the disabled list on 9/1 (a span of 13ab) with a single in the seventh
inning of 9/10 win at boston... in four-game series vs. detroit (9/22-25)
was 7-for-14 with 7r, 1rbi, 1sb, 1hp and 2bb.
